There are days when you wake up and feel like you’ve carried the world on your shoulders for too long. The deadlines, the prayers you’re still waiting on, the weight of being strong for everyone else. As women, we are often told to “hold it together” no matter what, but the truth is… God never asked us to carry everything alone.


There’s a quiet strength in surrender. Not the kind that gives up, but the kind that whispers, “God, I trust You more than I trust myself.”


Surrender is not weakness. It’s leaning into divine strength. It’s choosing peace over anxiety, flow over force. It’s the moment you unclench your fists, breathe, and let God remind you that you are already held.


The world tells us that control is power. But in God’s kingdom, letting go is power. Because when you release, you make space for miracles. You make space for God to show up in ways bigger than your plans.


The Bible says:

“Cast all your cares upon Him, for He cares for you.” — 1 Peter 5:7


That’s what surrender really means. Laying your worries down, trusting that the God who created you will also sustain you.


So today, allow yourself softness. Pray, but don’t force. Dream, but don’t drown in pressure. Lay your worries before Him like a child leaving burdens at her Father’s feet.


And when you feel the urge to fight everything on your own, remember: You are not alone. Your softness is not your weakness. It’s your doorway to God’s strength.
